Daniel Tay brings more than 20 years of experience in lawenforcement, regulatory bodies and forensic advisory, specializing in DigitalInvestigations, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Electronic Discovery, and Fraudinvestigations.
Daniel is a founding board member of the Singapore Chapterof the High Technology Crime Investigation Association, which support forensicpractitioners and future leaders at local universities and polytechnics. He hasserved as President of the Association and is currently its Secretary.
Daniel has provided expert testimonies in the courts of Singapore,supporting a wide array of cases across industries such as finance, oil andgas, technology, construction, maritime, and healthcare.
Daniel’s notable assignments include a large-scale multi-jurisdictionalinvestigation for a state-owned oil and gas enterprise in Asia that required forensicacquisition and examination of more than 100 electronic devices and processingand analysing a high volume of electronic evidence. Most recently, he worked onbehalf of a Singapore law enforcement agency, analysing multiple electronicdevices, preparing forensic expert reports and providing evidence to theSingapore State Court.
Daniel is Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE) and CertifiedMobile Examiner (Cellebrite).
